CIV is a Multi Family Office established in Milan in 2013 from the experience that its founder has gained within leading international banking and financial institutions, combined with a firm commitment to promote responsible finance among high net worth individuals and enterprises as well as leaders of social and environmental innovation.

Graduated in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore followed by a Master’s degree in Arbitrage Trading from New York University.
He worked for two decades in two leading banking institutions, moving between Vienna, Milan, London and New York, gaining experience in roles of increasing responsibility as an insider within the investment banking division of Banca Intesa and JPMorgan. His career path led him to shift from market making of non-government bonds to debt and equity capital markets and from over-the-counter equity derivatives to private equity.
In September 2012 he left JPMorgan to pursue personal projects related to social entrepreneurship. Since then, he has been leading CIV – Compagnia per l’Innovazione e per i Valori, an economic venture enriched by ethical values.
Graduated in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore followed by a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from Politecnico di Milano.
After 25 years of experience in Italy and abroad, first in auditing/consultancy firms and later in insurance groups, focusing on internal audit and governance systems, in 2021 he joined CIV as a Board Member and General Manager.
He is visiting professor of “Management of Insurance Companies” at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, as well as a lecturer in various courses and master’s degrees in insurance and governance topics.
He is the author of “Controllo interno e assicurazioni” (i.e. “Internal Control and Insurance”, FrancoAngeli, 2007) and of “Strategia e Governance nel business assicurativo” (i.e. “Strategy and Governance in insurance business”, Educatt, 2020).
Graduated in Economics from the University of Bologna followed by a Master’s degree in International Finance from Consorzio Pavese degli Studi Post Universitari.
In 1997 he started his career in Cofiri SIM, wholly owned by the Ministry of the Treasury. Since 2000 he continued his professional growth in leading Italian banks and international investment funds with roles of increasing responsibility in government bond trading, fixed income derivatives and credit structures, as well as corporate finance.
In 2018 he joined CIV as a Board Member and Chief Investment Officer.
He is lecturer of the postgraduate program “Financial Maths” of the Faculty of Mathematics, at the University of Bologna.
