WETOMORROW (VIETNAM-CAMBOGIA): INFRASTRUTTURE FORMATIVE MODERNE

Until 2018, CIV supported the Cooperative E.S.T.I.A., which over the years has distinguished itself as a model of good practice for the social reintegration of prisoners and ex-prisoners. The activities conducted related to two specific areas: non-formal education, through theatre, and vocational training, through work.

The rehabilitation of individuals in prison is essential to ensure their effective reintegration into society once their period of detention is complete. Rehabilitation can include educational, therapeutic, and vocational training programs to help individuals develop the skills and abilities they need to succeed in life outside of prison.

Bollate prison stands out for its focus on the rehabilitation of inmates through a variety of educational and vocational training programs. For example, the prison offers training courses in computer science, mechanics, and agriculture, which help inmates acquire useful skills for finding employment upon release. Additionally, Bollate prison also organizes therapy programs to help inmates manage issues such as addiction and emotional difficulties.

In this context, E.S.T.I.A. works closely with the prison and inmates to restore dignity to the person and the place of detention.
